Phosphatidic Acid

Phosphatidic acid was a popular muscle building supplement amongst bodybuilders in the 1970s & 80s, and now with recent scientific research and noticeable physiological results, Phosphatidic acid is returning to its former glory. Phosphatidic acid is a completely natural and non-suppressive compound that accelerates muscle growth and strength in just a few weeks. Phosphatidic acid is ideal for any male or female who wants to improve their body composition and improve exercise performance.

The benefits of Phosphatidic Acid

- Increased lean muscle mass

- Influxes in strength

- Non-suppressive

- No PCT required

- Enhanced exercise performance

How Phosphatidic Acid works

Phosphatidic acid upregulates the MTOR pathway, which is what gives it its anabolic (muscle-building) abilities. Greater activation of the MTOR pathway leads to augmented muscle protein synthesis, which is the process required for muscle repair and growth. Clinical research has shown Phosphatidic Acid to significantly improve lean muscle mass and strength in just 8 weeks when used alongside a resistance training regime, compared to a control group (1). Another study has shown that supplementing 750mg of Phosphatidic acid for 8 weeks increases bench press 1 rep max and improves body composition (2). Additionally, one of the side effects of Phosphatidic acid is optimised hormonal support for gastrointestinal disorders, such as diarrhoea (3).

How to take Phosphatidic Acid

We advise running Phosphatidic acid for 8-12 weeks at 750mg per day. So, this equates to 3 caps daily. It is strongly advised to take Phosphatidic acid with food, as it is a lipid molecule itself. No post-cycle therapy required.

Supporting supplements & information

As Phosphatidic Acid is non-suppressive and is non-methylated, no on-cycle support or PCT is necessary.
